Environment: Meltdown (2008)
Produced by the Knight Center for Environmental Journalism at Michigan State University, Meltdown is a half-hour documentary exploring the issue of global climate change using local professors.
Meltdown is the second production of the Knight Center’s television program, Environment. Students from a variety of disciplines taking the Environmental Video Production (JRN 808/JRN 408) course, taught by Lou D’Aria, worked on bringing Meltdown together in conjunction with theatre major Allison Lepech, who narrated the piece, broadcast major Jamal Spencer, Environment’s host, and music doctoral student Kevin Wilt, who composed the musical score with the MSU Philharmonic Orchestra.
